Method:
With oversight from professors at leading schools of business, HighMark, Inc. (“HighMark”) has created a business leadership development course entitled Successful Business Principles. This course has been specifically designed to provide managing directors of small- to medium-sized for-profit businesses the essential business disciplines required to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. The HighMark Course is continuously updated to assure it contains the information currently being presented by top tier business training institutions.
Through its HighMark International operations and through partnerships with other organizations, HighMark has developed a network of business development offices in emerging nations where the HighMark Course is offered along with leadership coaching, consulting, and seminars on timely business topics.
HighMark maintains a network of American business professionals who have been trained to serve as coaches and instructors of the HighMark Course or present other seminars presented at the various international locations.
History and Organization:
Founded in 2000, HighMark has proven the concept of using business management development to impact businesses and business leaders in economically emerging nations. HighMark has developed core strengths in designing practical training materials and recruiting experienced American businesspersons to serve as instructors of these materials. Over 1,000 volunteer instructors have been mobilized to teach over 300 Seminars in the HighMark Course Successful Business Principles in over 50 cities in more than 30 nations. Facilitation of presentations of the HighMark Course was done in partnership with other organizations operating in these nations.
In 2012 HighMark began the extension of its operations when it opened its first branch office in Tunis, Tunisia. This and future branches operate under the name HighMark International. These branches will offer the HighMark Course and additional seminars and consulting services. Development of curriculum, recruiting of seminar instructors, administrative, financial, and information technology will continue to be located at HighMark offices in the United States.

HighMark, Inc., is recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization formed for charitable and educational purposes, and, as allowed by IRS Code, grants and gifts to HighMark, Inc., are deductible for tax purposes.
